From Nov. 25, 2016 to the first day of the New Year, Frisco Square is hosting a spectacular holiday event that offers fun and magic for all ages. Christmas in the Square brings a winter wonderland of fun to the city, offering light shows, live music and plenty of snow!

Snow & Light Shows
Over 175,000 luminous, dancing holiday lights are choreographed to music by Frisco’s own Jeff Trykoski (Illumimax LLC), creating an awesome light show that’ll leave you and your family mesmerized. Christmas in the Square also uses the same machines as Disney to blow snow all over the Frisco Square area. On Fridays and Saturdays, the machines are used to create fun snow flurries approximately every 15 minutes, so you can feel like you’re truly in a winter wonderland.

Skate the Square Outdoor Ice Rink
The ice skating rink is a special highlight of Christmas in the Square. It’s open Monday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday through Sunday from noon to 10 p.m. For only $10 per person (price with or without skates), you can glide around the rink for hours.

Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
When envisioning a traditional Christmas setting, carriage rides always come to mind. Christmas on the Square brings this activity to North Texas for all to enjoy and it’s only $6 per person to take a ride. Hours are Thursday through Sunday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. and the take-off location is at the corner of Frisco Square and Coleman Boulevards. Rides are first-come, first-served.

In addition, the event includes a Toy Drive for Operation Once in a Lifetime that’s being held from Nov. 21 through Dec. 19. There will also once again be a Christmas tree lot where you can find your perfect pine, spruce or fir. To learn more about Christmas in the Square, visit the official website here.
