Specs at a Glance
No matter which version of the 2025 Nissan Armada you select, you'll be driving a thoroughly updated SUV that boasts a more powerful engine, advanced safety technologies, and the latest in connectivity. While the Armada performs well overall, the differences between trim levels can help determine which one suits your needs best. Two standout trims are the SV, an excellent entry-level option offering great value, and the SL, which builds on that foundation with more premium features.
Performance
Both the SV and SL share the same performance setup. Under the hood, the 2025 Armada comes equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine delivering up to 425 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque. A nine-speed automatic transmission comes standard. While rear-wheel drive is included by default, both trims offer four-wheel drive as an available upgrade for those who want more traction or off-road capability.
Appearance
The SV and SL trims differ slightly in terms of styling. The SV comes with 18-inch alloy wheels, while the SL is outfitted with larger 20-inch alloys. Both versions include automatic LED headlights, roof rails, and running boards for easier access. Inside, the SL elevates comfort and aesthetics with soft synthetic leather seating. Additionally, the SL offers an optional ProPilot Assist 2.1 package that includes ambient interior lighting and enhanced tech features.
Features
The SL trim is well-equipped with a wide range of features designed for comfort and convenience. It includes an eight-way power driver's seat, tri-zone climate control, and dual 12.3-inch screens-one for the instrument cluster and one for infotainment. Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay come standard, along with a power-adjustable front passenger seat. The front seats are heated, and a heated steering wheel is included as well. To complete the experience, the SL offers a premium 12-speaker audio system, Alexa integration, and built-in navigation.
Both trim levels come standard with a robust set of safety features. The SV includes adaptive cruise control, rear cross-traffic alert, rear automatic braking, blind-spot intervention, and lane centering. The SL adds a surround-view camera system and Nissan's trailer backup assist. You can also enhance the SL further with optional semi-autonomous driving technologies.
