Sporting a brand-new SR trim level this model year, the 2016 Nissan Altima is now available in seven models: 2.5, 2.5 S, 2.5 SR, 2.5 SV, 2.5 SL, 3.5 SR and 3.5 SL. The 2.5 models are powered by a 2.5-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder engine that generates 182 horsepower, while the 3.5 models work off of a 270-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V6.

New exterior design features on the 2016 Altima include an updated front fascia, bumper, fenders and hood. There is also a new V-Motion grille and boomerang-shaped headlights that provide an inherently aggressive and powerful look to the sedan. Altima drivers will also find halogen high beam and LED projector low beam lights have been added.

The car's rear has been newly resculpted with a new trunk lid, lower and wider boomerang lights, and a dark lower accent. Finally, a new Deep Blue Pearl has been added to the 2016 Nissan Altima near Dallas that provides a perfect luxury finish to the four-door.

Many 2016 Nissan Altima reviews have praised the sedan's newly redesigned interior that features a revised C-stack, Zero Gravity front seats, updated upholstery, a reshaped steering wheel, and newly available 5-inch and 7-inch display screens. The sedan's new SR trim adds more sport accents to the Altima's interior, such as paddle shifters on the leather-wrapped steering wheel, a leather-wrapped gear shifter, and blue accents on the seats and door panels.
