Crest Nissan Shows Off the New Nissan Maxima

The 2016 Nissan Maxima in Frisco is all-new this model year, sporting a full redesign for its eighth generation. The sedan is one of Nissan's most popular and longest-running models, debuting nearly 35 years ago. This year, Nissan is looking to update the Maxima with sportier features, a lighter body frame, higher-end materials and a more powerful engine, features that are sure to continue the Maxima's dominance as a go-to family sedan for shoppers in the Dallas area.

The 2016 Maxima comes in five trim levels: S, SV, SL, SR and Platinum. The Maxima S starts things off with an impressive list of standard amenities, including a rearview camera, dual-zone climate control, Bluetooth connectivity, push-button start, remote engine start and a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel. The next-level Maxima SV adds leather seats, an all-new "Razor Steel" faceted interior trim and heated front seats, while the Maxima SL gets a dual-panel panoramic moonroof, a Bose premium audio system and a heated steering wheel.

Numerous 2016 Nissan Maxima reviews love the Maxima SR, which offers even more sport features, including a sport-tuned suspension, 19-inch aluminum-alloy wheels, an integrated dynamic-control module and premium Ascot leather seats with Alcantara inserts. Finally, the Maxima Platinum edition features even more luxury, thanks to its Ascot leather-appointed seats, Nissan's popular Around View Monitor safety system, climate-controlled front seats and mahogany wood-tone faceted interior trim.

The 2016 Nissan Maxima in Frisco is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 300 horsepower, which adds 10 more horsepower to the sedan than previous generations. The eighth generation of the Maxima also gets even better fuel economy, thanks to its new continuously variable transmission. On the safety front, the sedan features Forward Emergency Braking, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Blind Spot Warning, Intelligent Cruise Control and Predictive Forward Collision Warning.
