Nissan’s latest campaign for their line of commercial vans is a terrific homage to action films of yore. Celebrating the high-octane films of the late 1980s and early 1990s, this new campaign features action star Mickey Rourke in the action movie spoof, “The Delivery.”

This latest campaign is a very fun and entertaining new outing by the automaker, highlighting the very impressive features of its commercial van lineup. Along with Rourke, the new campaign stars Carl Weathers, Raymond Cruz and Teresa Ruiz. It's initial ad – below - is the first installation of several ads that will make up the spoof film. In it, Weathers – here playing a former agent – gets Rourke - an ex-special ops agent turned florist - to put on his old hat to do “one last job.”

That job involves one of Nissan’s commercial vans, which offers everything from excellent suspension and antilock brakes to anti-corrosion features and a powerful drivetrain. The NV Cargo Van takes center stage throughout the first ad, showcasing these many features, which help our heroes defeat the bad guy in the end.

"We want to bring attention to the durability and efficiency that small business owners can expect from Nissan's commercial vehicles," said Jeremy Tucker, vice president, Marketing Communications and Media, Nissan North America, Inc. "These vehicles endure more than 7,000 tests during the development process, compressing 13 years of real-world use into about three months. The results are highly dependable vehicles for our owners."
