The all-new 2016 Nissan Titan XD has been honored by the Texas Auto Writers Association as the “2015 Truck of Texas."
This annual award is given to the truck that outperforms others in its class in the Association’s Texas Truck Rodeo. The rodeo put some of the best trucks on the market through a grueling evaluation process that looks at their strength, power and agility, as well as their interior comfort. The 2016 Titan XD outpaced them all, earning this year’s “Truck of Texas” award.
"Of the hundreds of thousands of miles driven during the development of the all-new 2016 TITAN XD, the miles driven by the truck experts of the Texas Auto Writers Association were the most critical miles driven to date as we prepare to launch our new truck," said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, U.S.A., Nissan North America, Inc. "This prestigious Truck of Texas award gives us tremendous validation heading into the TITAN XD launch in December. We are humbly honored to accept this award."
Nissan has been working diligently to produce one of the most capable trucks on the roadways and the 2016 Titan has already proven its ability to fulfill that role. Not only has the new hauler earned the “Truck of Texas” award, it has also been named the “Luxury Pick Truck of Texas,” “Best Powertrain” and “Off-Road Pickup Truck of Texas.”
The all-new pickup will be available in Frisco sometime this fall. For more information about the 2016 Nissan Titan, stop by Crest Nissan today!
