Coming off of a record sales year in 2015, Nissan is looking to once again expand its growing lineup. The automaker is considering adding two new crossover models to the U.S market; a move that will have many Nissan fans very excited.

Pierre Loing, Nissan’s vice president of product strategy, told reporters that the automaker hopes to debut two small crossovers that would live below the Rogue. This is a marked confirmation of reports that Nissan was looking to bring their popular European Qashqai model to the U.S.

Another new model would then be placed next to the Juke. This new crossover could possibly be based on the much-praised Gripz concept that debuted late last year. It could also be based on the Kicks concept that debuted in 2014.

The crossover market is one of the most popular car segments in the U.S., due in large part to the unique and sporty feel of the very popular Juke. We’ll keep you updated as we learn more about these two new models from Nissan and when we might expect them to arrive at our Nissan dealer in Frisco.
