What's New for the 2018 Nissan Rogue?

Updates for the 2018 Nissan Rogue vary by trim level. Starting with the entry-level S and continuing with all the other trims, the infotainment screen now measures seven inches and builds in Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support so you can integrate your compatible phone. The rear of the SV gets a motion-activated power liftgate, which is handy when your hands are full. Just kick under the rear bumper and rear hatch opens so you can load or unload the rear. Driver-assist features such as adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning are now standard on the SV. This trim also includes the Midnight Edition package that accents the vehicle in shades of black. The SL gains adaptive cruise control and lane departure warning. Its optional ProPilot Assist, which is part of the SL Platinum package, activates with a steering-wheel button to engage Lane Keeping Assist and Stop-and-Go Adaptive Cruise control.

With the S trim, LED Daytime Running Lights maintain your vehicle's visibility even under bright sunshine. So you can keep your focus on the drive, you can use your voice to activate the Bluetooth® Hands-Free Phone System or the Hands-free Text Messaging Assistant. Vents for the rear passengers ensure that they receive the benefits of air conditioning.

The SV trim allows you to keep your keys in your pocket when you have the Nissan Intelligent Key. Just press a button on the key fob and you can unlock or unlock the door, or push a button to start the engine. You and your front passenger can get separate comfort definitions using the Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control.

Midnight Edition™: The special black Midnight Edition badging announces this trim's style. Black becomes the highlight color that appears on exterior accents, outside mirrors with LED turn signals, and exclusive Midnight Edition 17-inch alloy wheels.

SL: Automatic Emergency Braking works with people crossing your path, thanks to adding Pedestrian Detection feature for the SL trim. Get to where you want to go more efficiently with Nissan Door to Door Navigation, which gets real-time reports on congestion from Premium Traffic.

Expect up to 170 horsepower and 175 lb.-ft. of torque as well as 33 MPG on the highway and 26 MPG in the city from the 2.5L 16-valve inline-4 with Dual Overhead Cams and Front-Wheel Drive. With Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission, you can pick ECO mode to optimize fuel efficiency or Sport mode for a more thrilling drive. Hill Start Assist gives you more confidence when you run the engine on a slope by holding the brakes momentarily, so you can move your foot from the brakes to the accelerator without rolling down the incline.

Nissan Rogue Safety

2018 Nissan Rogue ExteriorThe 2018 Nissan Rogue reduces oversteering and understeering through Vehicle Dynamic Control, which works to brake individual wheels or lower vehicle speed. To prevent the wheels from slipping, the Traction Control system can lessen speed to improve handling. External cameras on the front, rear, and side provide the video that the available Intelligent Around View Monitor puts together so you see a top-down view of your surroundings. When you try to change lanes, the Blind Spot Warning grants you the all-clear by telling you if any vehicles have entered your blind zone.
