What's New for the 2026 Nissan Z?

To celebrate the legacy of the fourth-generation Z sports car, Nissan has introduced a new Heritage Edition trim. This version features an exclusive Midnight Purple exterior and eye-catching bronze-alloy wheels. Retro-inspired "Twin Turbo" graphics further enhance its distinctive look, while a carbon-fiber ducktail spoiler adds flair at the rear. Additionally, the Z Sport and Performance trims now offer a new Boulder Gray paint option paired with a black roof.

What Are the 2026 Nissan Z Trims & Features?

The 2026 Nissan Z is offered in four trims: Sport, Performance, Heritage Edition, and NISMO. The entry-level Sport trim delivers an engaging drive while providing several desirable features, including an 8.0-inch NissanConnect touchscreen, a fully digital gauge display, push-button start, and automatic climate control.

The Performance trim adds enhanced driving capability with larger brakes and a mechanical limited-slip differential. Under the hood, the Z features a twin-turbo V6 engine producing 400 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque. The Z NISMO trim delivers even more power with 420 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque. While most trims allow a choice between a six-speed manual or a nine-speed automatic transmission, the NISMO is automatic-only.
