Nissan has a series of comprehensive standard warranties, starting with certain vehicle model years. These warranties cover the cost of repairing or replacing broken or defective parts in the car's drivetrain, mechanical components, safety equipment, emissions system, and more. In addition, Crest Nissan also offers added vehicle protection through supplemental MPP plans.

New Vehicle Limited Warranty

The New Vehicle Limited Warranty is a basic coverage plan to protect your Nissan. This plan covers repairs and parts replacement for the original components in your vehicle. The warranty is effective for a maximum of 36,000 miles or 36 months, whichever is first.

Powertrain Warranty

New Nissan vehicles are also covered with a Powertrain Warranty for 60 months or 60,000 miles, whichever comes first. This warranty will cover the cost of repairs or replacement parts necessary to fix problems in the powertrain system. The warranty applies to original components, and repairs must be made at an authorized Nissan dealership.

Emissions Warranty

The Emission Performance warranty will remedy any issue in your vehicle which causes it to fail an approved emissions test during the first 24 months or 24,000 miles, whichever occurs first. The Emission Defects warranty covers any repairs needed to correct defects in materials or workmanship which would cause your vehicle not to meet applicable emission standards. This warranty is for 3 years or 36,000 miles, whichever comes first. In addition, certain vital emission components are covered for up to 8 years or 80,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Seat Belt Limited Warranty

This warranty covers repair and replacement costs for your car's seat belts if they fail to work correctly within the first ten years that you buy the vehicle. Repairs and all associated labor are performed at no cost to the owner.

Corrosion Coverage

This protection plan includes coverage for up to 60 months regardless of miles driven. It includes financial coverage for body sheet metal panels rusted from the inside out during the warranty period under normal use.

Tire Warranty

Nissan's new cars also  come with a tire warranty. Tire warranty coverage may vary based on the brand of tires that are installed on your vehicle. Therefore, you should consult your owner's manual for more precise information.

MPP Plans

Drivers who want additional  protection can get supplemental coverage through MPP plans from Crest Nissan. MPP plans include GAP coverage, lease wear protection, and warranties designed for older Nissan vehicles that don't have standard factory warranties. Extended maintenance warranties are also optional.
