A dealer in La Coruna made the sale after a user on the social media website challenged dealerships around the country on whether it could be done. The La Coruna dealership responded immediately to see how they could help the man find the perfect Nissan car or truck, going so far as to use Twitter’s live-streaming app, Periscope, to showcase their cars’ many features and amenities.
Several other dealerships followed suit, trying to see which one could convince the user to take home their particular car, but it’s the La Coruna dealer that really stood out and eventually won the sale.
This is a great example of all the cool things that social media can do, though we don’t expect this to catch on too soon, as you really can’t replace actually being able to test drive your next new car, which is something that almost all automotive experts recommend before purchasing.
