The Frisco Heritage Museum is hosting a summer day camp for local Frisco children: A Day in the Life of a Prairie Girl.

This fun day camp is for girls between K – 3rd Grade, and will be happening July 19-20, 2016. At the Life of a Prairie Girl Day Camp, kids will be able to experience a typical day for a young girl living in the 19th century. From playing regular childhood games and learning in the one-room school house to making butter to take home to mom, it should be a fun and educational experience for local Frisco girls.

The day camp is free, but only has 20 spots available. To get your child’s name on the list, be sure to email your child’s name and age to the Heritage Museum at dayontheprairie@outlook.com.

As one of the most popular local attractions in Frisco, the Heritage Museum is a great place to take your family this summer, keeping little minds engaged, as well as entertained.

According to the museum’s website, “The mission of the Frisco Heritage Museum is to collect, preserve, study, interpret, exhibit, and stimulate appreciation for and knowledge of the history and culture of Frisco, Texas and the North Texas region to all the people of the region and to the visitors attracted to the area.”
