The Nissan Armada and Nissan Murano were each named segment winners in the J.D. Power 2026 APEAL Study. While the Armada tied for the top rank in the Large SUV segment, the Murano earned first place in the Midsize SUV category. The rankings reflect driver feedback gathered during the first 90 days of vehicle ownership, assessing criteria such as seating comfort, cabin design, everyday usability, and engine performance.

 

Almost everyone recognizes the coveted awards issued annually by U.S. News & World Report. Car manufacturers do not always build specific vehicles in hopes of securing a position on this elite index, but it is an absolute indication of an exceptional job when they do appear. For the current model year, the Armada PRO-4X was safely named to the list, and Nissan's highly popular Rogue was counted among the primary winners.
